Hansy what do you make of TM's perceived tenuous grip and fall from favour by both the nation and her party who are seriously touting Jacob Regs Mogg as a potential pm?

Jacob Regs Mogg is a great brain to have in a senior post....probably foreign secretary.

However he's a politician from another era in many senses so I don't know how he'd come across to the great unwashed.

The Tories only have one clear election winner and that is Johnson. If they don't choose him then they only have themselves to blame.

JRM is a Catholic and can't be PM unless someone repeals the 1829 Emancipation Act. I don't remember that in the Queen's speech.

I doubt the buffoon would even run. Even though he is a vile individual : respect for giving up the US citizenship, even if it was a fit of pique over a tax charge.

JRM is the local MP of an old friend of mine who lives outside Bath.

Why on earth are you labelling JRM a "Buffoon" and a "Vile individual" ?

Did he go around attacking the opposition party for their "Murderers" or publicly fantasised about the assassination of a Labour PM or about garrotting an opposition politician ?

Did he go around peddling political sectarianism, seeking to exploit a public disaster for partisan gain ?

Not "Nonsense" at all.
As you are probably well aware I was thinking of a Labour politician.

Goodnight.

How anyone from the left can talk about a 'buffoon' when you have Corbyn leading your party is quite something.

Sure Johnson is somewhat a figure of fun for some people or vile for others. We had Reagan and Trump in America.

What the left think...people who would never vote Tory anyway....has little to do with him being an election winner or not. It's about his affect amongst the 'don't knows'.

I'm being objective when I say that when I look at the current state of the Labour party I don't see anyone there who would beat him in an election.

When I look at the Tory party there isn't anyone else in the cabinet who I could say....in an electionial sense....could beat an egg.

Whoooooosh.

THE BUFFOON not a buffoon.

However, JRM is still an out of touch cund, and yes I am pretty sure he has "Did he go around attacking the opposition party for their "Murderers" and "go around peddling political sectarianism" of the poor and has interested in tobacco, mining and oil and gas in an investment company that he did not declare.
