If that was your attempt at humour I wouldn't give up the day job

Had Pardew stayed, he would of taken us down to the Championship. I don't hate him either. It's the hype that all the Pardew apologists attach to him - one top 10 finish and an FA cup final didn't compensate for how dreadful we were last year until Big Sam saved our arses.

But moving on, my 3 most disliked Palace managers.

1) Francis - Though we got AJ out of it and hammered the Weed 5-0, some of the football during his reign was absolutely turgid and uninspiring.

2) Taylor - Great player back in the day, but an absolute disappointment as a manager and made us look dreadful.

3) Burley - A reign that is best forgotten.

Whoever mentioned Paul Hart is clinically insane. He did the job required and is always welcome back at Palace.

To be fair, he probably has !

Someone without the wit to recognise satire.
I was going to say Alan Mullary But he did save Palace when the rot of Venables almost sent Palace deeper I to the mire and kept Palace in a secure position for Coppel to take on, but the football was dire.
But then someone mentioned Burley...arhhhhh.

We were flying 6under Bassett. Is there something i dont get here? Ron Noads, previously of Wimbledon, offered Bassett the Oalac3 Palace job, due to Bassetts record at Wimbledon. Bassett took the pisition, but quit after half a day or so, saying it didnt feel right..err

You need to explain the meaning of the word facetious. That seems inaropriate

Steve Bruce. When he started the season so well I thought we were destined for promotion. Until he walked out on us.
