Including those that can't afford sky high deposits and 2 or 3 months rent up front?

No. That is not incapable.

But the greed of banks and landlords is a major issue for those who just want a roof over their head and independence.

I have always had a problem with the whole council house system anyway.
I believe the 'crime' is absurdly high rents being charged by landlords and restrictive mortgage terms. If you are 'working class' then you should be working. Housing should only be handed out to the desperate and genuinely incapable.

If there enough well paying jobs to support paying for those houses I would agree with you....I can't remember a time when that existed. So until that time I agree with the concept of state supported housing.

Government is meant to represent everyone. The more talented and/or able should be helped but not if it is at the expense of the less talented and/or able.

Well....if the alternative is that we have tons of people living on the streets or putting up shanty homes.

No, what you rely on is one side of an argument. The side that you agree with.

It's only people like you who talk of 'blaming foreigners'. I don't blame people wanting to get to a better life. Who I blame are people like you who want to let everybody in.

Who has actually said that and who is "everyone"?

If you mean 'freedom of movement' then say so. 400million Europeans can travel freely if they wish (most don't) so who exactly are the b@stards who allowed that non-restriction to happen and what about those Norwegians joining in, eh?

And what about non-EU migration? Different b@stards letting that go on? Not the EU there of course so who was it that opened that door?

But despite the greed of banks and landlords, you don't think working people need any help?

He mentioned people 'blaming foreigners'.

You keep making this same failed point about the Tories originally signing EU treaties....they thought they could control it. I keep answering it and you making it again...it's like you are deaf to the meaning of words.

Maastricht enabled it and Thatcher regretted it.

Many in the Tory party campaigned against it....hardly any in the Labour party did....Except a few like Corbyn.

Everyone who put their name to 'freedom of movement' was a bast*rd, whether they were Tory or not.

But it was Labour who flooded the country....not the Tories.

I don't care if it's non or EU immigration. I want a controlled border with the government deciding who is useful to economy and who isn't.

Are our borders completely uncontrolled then?

That scientist got the sack last year for speaking at an after dinner about saying 'women got emotional' in the workplace.

Far left activists complain, the media get involved for a story and a well respected scientist gets the sack.

Top Gear is now sh-t because essentially lefty producers can't take a punch without crying to their lawyers about it.

Oh and lefty social engineering infects the whole of teaching....despite that being unprofessional....especially in the humanities.

It must come from the far left?

Also my daughter has been asked to refer Christmas as the holiday season?
