Great idea! Whom do you suggest we get instead? Ah.

That's the difference. Pardew and pulls came into teams who were fighting and had spirit and gave them a system that worked to enable their performances to match the spirit they had. Sam has come in to a situation where all spirit has been drained so has to find both a system that works and build up spirit. A far harder task. Braunston- you won't answer why you have pardew so long but not Sam?

I'm hearing that Schlupp's problem was just cramp again. Not confirmed, but hope it's correct.

Administrations aside, not sure I can remember us being in such a bad position. Yes, we've fought off relegation in the Championship but we had players who were playing for the shirt and some team spirit but this mob we've got now?! Thank f*ck it was only the cup but another thumping and not scoring again, adds another nail in our lack of confidence / belief coffin. Can't see us turning things around by Tues evening either! I reckon Sam is sh*tting himself at the min, thinking how on earth did I end up here! Haha

I fail to see why people are getting upset by losing today. The league is our priority. Having a go at Allardyce is pointless. He inherited a mess. If you demand scapegoats then look no further than Steve Parish and Alan Pardew. I've never been a huge fan of SA but he was the only credible candidate when Pardew was fired - unless your preference is for an inexperienced manager from a lower league or a foreign coach with no track record in English football. The club has made some good if expensive purchases in the transfer market - a quality defensive midfielder would still be welcome imo - but it's time to be supportive of the man in charge instead of yearning for the previous incompetent incumbent.
