The amount of times Gayley won games late on for us is remarkable. If you can't remember them, I really don't know what to say. Let's agree to disagree? Hahahaha, how many times ???? As you will find out next year if and when NUFC go up and IF Gayle makes the first team

Gayle scoring late winners for us is very much an urban myth it seems to me, I'd be very interested in seeing the facts. I do recall him coming on as sub many times and (with one or two notable exceptions) making no impression whatsoever.

I look forward to him coming up (hopefully) with Newcastle and I hope they play him. Only then when he's playing week in week out will we really know.

In three seasons for is he won us three league games late on. Villa, Spurs, Burnley. So, once per season in the league is the answer. Against Liverpool we were already winning, and against Stoke there was something like 20 minutes to play (so hardly late on). Edited by NickinOX (13 Jan 2017 3.04am)
If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |

I did not forget about Liverpool, I just focused on your claim of how many games he won for us late on. And yes it is.

In Bentekes defence after having ago at him he is mostly surrounded by players who have probably dragged him down a bit on his known abilty from his Villa days. Even Messi would be a lot sh1ttier if he were playing for us.
