While I think fans calling for pardew back are stupid. It does seem to be as Big Sam a beaten man after England fiasco. I want him to suceed but can't help but think he's concreting on the defence too much and since his been manager, we don't look like scoring. If we lose against boro. I think he should walk. Get a young passionate manager in like Wagner, monk or di canio.

Paolo di Canio? That is the football equivalent of suicide.

Cannot be a serious suggestion.

I might be wrong but I think the only success he has achieved in Management is promotion for Swindon from the lower divisions probably 5 years ago.Think he only lasted about a dozen league games at Sunderland but in his defence he did save them from the drop.In any event there won't be a managerial change at our club before the end of the season.

Pardew did that for the last 12 months why is it FS fault anyway

Its not, Sam shagged Braunstone's misses. So has a hatred for him.

Yannick Bolasie - Glenn Murray - Wilfried Zaha

Most exciting attacking trio at Selhurst Park in years.

Allardyce seems obsessed with stats, goes to them every time we lose. The reaction after the goal went in was the worst aspect of yesterday, the game just sort of drifted, didn't see that kind of attitude at all from Hull against Arsenal.

Yesterday apart from the 2 new lads, the rest were those who have been responsible for our dramatic decline and as such will probably be total lacking in confidence.

Hull started with 7 players who have joined quite recently and there was a certain freshness and energy about them. There're not the ones who have been part of a struggling outfit from the start of the season.

I have no recollection of this whatsoever.
I recall saying that even if we lost at Swansea in what was a key game Pardew would continue beyond that game.

Of course I could be wrong about Allardyce but I find it totally inconceivable that we would make another change.
I am quite happy to admit when I am wrong - I am often !!!!

You did, you also said that Pardew had another job lined up when there was speculation he might go to Swansea.

I never once said he had "Another job lined up" which would suggest he was about to be appointed by another club.

If my recollection is correct I said words to the effect that I wouldn't be surprised if he went elsewhere - I didn't mean to suggest there was any certainty.

I'm not in the business of making up stories with NO foundation whatsoever.

Yes, i've been advocating for major changes to the first XI, most of whom have been present and at fault for our situation. Time to field the new guys plus the supposed less talented players that possibly haven't been so affected by the negativity on the pitch. Sakho, Milivojevic, Flamini, Schlupp, Townsend, Campbell, Remy, Sako should be being used and starting games. We have the squad to change things now, add some fight and freshness into the team.

If I did it must have been just an arbitrary timescale.

At no time was I suggesting that there was any degree of certainty regarding any future appointment. What IS a fact is that Pardew was not removed of his duties following the Swansea debacle, and in this respect I was totally right !!!!
