Think that was his last game.

They'll give him up to the Watford game then pull the trigger, I'm guessing.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

A left back and a decent striker and we'll be ok, decent showing today but lacked quality in the last third.

Only 4 home wins in the whole of 2016, shocking but at least we payed with some guts today and lost to a brilliant cross and headed goal, its looking bleak at the moment!

..goal diff is still very healthy, we until their sub kept them down fairly well considering they are now nine points better than all the other top sides, Pardew should feel this team has showed it can defend and it only took the perfect ball to dislodge our determination, although they did have some brilliant opportunities for more, the comms said on a number of occasions Chelsea are not playing as they normally do, well that was because we stopped them.

I think Watford will succumb to our pressure.

Positives - two resolute performances on the trot, Hennessey very good in both imo. In ordinary circumstances even the most optimistic Palace fans would surely forgive us getting nothing from either. But poor management did leave us needing something.

What a shame its taken Pardew a few months to realise what most fans could see all along, that playing Kelly right back and Ward left back makes our defence look much more balanced. If he had cottoned on sooner we might be better positioned to deal with the last two likely losses.

One would hope so. The performances in the last four games have been much improved. The results in the last two were, perhaps, to be expected. That being said, we were definitely unlucky against United.

I still don't think he can turn it around because there have been too many defensive aberrations under his tenure.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

..your summary of Mr Pardew is the only thing that is bleak.

I would have been happy with one point today. Time up for Alan Pardew IMO; he looked as if he was waiting for the guillotine to fall.
