Pardews on record saying that Mandanda has changed the way we play but why bring in a ball playing keeper when our defenders are so uncomfortable with the ball at their feet. Its like a hot potato to them when he rolls it out.

I honestly dont think any of our keepers are prem league standard. Need to get a top quality one in Jan if poss.

Certainly sound like it as you disect everything Mandanda does while conveniently forgetting that Hennessey was pretty useless for most of last season..the bloke has played what 8 or9 games behind a constantly changing defence....what you gonna say if your hero comes in and does worse than Mandanda?? You'll say.." give him a chance" won't you??

This guy was highly sought after before coming to Palace as well as being number 2 in the French team to Lorrice so he has pedigree. Good keepers don't become bad overnight. Don't forget every slip, mistake and cock up gets magnified as he is the last man.
Put yourself just momentarily in his position ....daunting. His confidence must be shot and maybe he needs some time out.
A key decision has got to be made AP and if it is then it's for the good of the team. His back must be giving him grief as well!

No - not on BBS. More than 1 person is allowed to disagree with you. And do, WH wasn't pretty useless for most of last season. He made a few bad mistakes but also some match-winning saves.

Both are not great, I would give WH the gloves to see if he has sharpened up from last season. Maybe the competition is the kick he needs but I would still see Steve as the 'long term' choice.
