The frustrating thing I find from this recent losing run is that we are playing well for 45 of the 90 minutes. Far too often this season we are having to come from a goal back.

The only take away from this is that we need to work on everything, and to upgrade the defense in the transfer window. IMHO Kelly was our best defender today and that's hard to type.

Other than being occasionally susceptible in defence, Liverpool FC has outplayed us in all departments. Time to properly scrutinise comparison performances in all departments from peak level contrast, and learn from henceforward. REAL scrutiny needed. Start with MOTD 'more than likely opening game' analysis tonight and work from there....
