If you're tired of life, you're tired of London - bollocks to that. If you're dull and inadequate, London will spit you out and you can go lick your wounds some place else. We don't want you. South London and Proud was on our shirts for a reason. Personally, if you don't feel that you can never be a true Palace supporter and will always be the worst kind of plastic Ha ha - You are so proud of South London and you bleed SE postcodes but you live in central London " because you can" - as in it's better. You're the plastic you in denial buffoon. Go and support your local club. Chelsea.

Strange, but I totally understand that. I'm currently sat in my truck in Brixton Market in the dark watching them all set up as i'm waiting to get onto a job. I'm smiling inside watching the life of the place. My mates are sending me pics of Sydney beaches and sunsets to wind me. It does absolutely nothing for me though. This is where I want to be and want my boy to grow up. It gives me a buzz and thrill like nowhere else in the world.

When they were having fun over there I got all the pictures of the beaches etc. I often sent pictures of snow here etc, and they thought it was just a bit of fun. Another friend of my mate came from LA to England, and I took him around some local pubs when I worked up town, and he loved the Friday night buzz. When he got home, he showed all the history pictures and the sites, and I could see that my old pal (A Chelsea fan actually) was missing the old place. I sent him video clips of my day at the semi and final at Wembley and I think this tipped him over the edge. Got a feeling Chelsea may have another tourist in the ground soon. I also could never be too far away from home, or Palace!

Where you live is just down to the alphabet. When the postal sorting districts were allocated in 1857/8 there was an "S" for Souf London. It was abolished ten years later and all the "S" postal districts reallocated as either "SE" or "SW". SE25 must have been an S code as it was the most southerly and central of the postal districts before Souf London ceased to exist! "S" became Sheffield and the London "NE" district which was also abolished about the same time is now Newcastle.

Who is we? I am proud to be a Palace fan but am not proud of South London. When going to away games I generally go by train, i get off and go to the closest pub near the station, might grab a bit of food on the way to the ground, i probably see a very small part of the town i am in but on my return would say the place was nice or a complete s***hole based on what i see.Can you imagine getting off a train at Thornton Heath, going up the high street amongst the rubbish, dumped furniture and every other shop being a barbers or open supermarket with Hindi music blaring out. Then onto a pub that is a complete s***hole. The you go to the ground and the away end in the Arthur. Are you proud of that? i am not and the majority of people that say they are proud of South London are the ones like you that dont live there anymore. I am very proud to have been born in South London and grew up on a rough council estate but the majority of South London is nothing like it was 25-30 years ago as their is very little sense of community left and some areas areas are just vile.
