It is great to see Glenn Murray still doing the business in the top-flight (even if it is for BHA).

What is even more satisfying is that GM remains at the pinnacle of the domestic game while the joker who forced him out of CPFC (Alan Pardew) is nowhere to be seen.

There is no way big head Pardew envisioned this when he was chucking his weight around at Selhurst Park.

He could not wait to axe Glenn and now Pardew is the face at the window who can't get into the party.

Let's remind ourselves of some of his signings: Jordon Mutch; Shola Ameobi; Lee Chung-Young; Connor Wickham; Emmanuel Adebayor; Steve Mandanda; Christian Benteke and Mathieu Flamini.

Total garbage.

You are where you deserve to be Pardew. On the rubbish heap.

who really gives a f*** about glenn murray anymore? we shouldnt, we dont need him.

Hows that going this season?

we have HALF the points that the weed have this season
we are way below the weed this season
Murray has scored more goals than we have this season
we wont have a better gd this season because we NEVER score

Oh but we do need him rather than Benteke and Sorloth and Wickham (all duds)

Added list of strikers who failed to fill the Glenn Murray gap: Connor Wickham; Emmanuel Adebayor; Yaya Sanogo; Patrick Bamford; Christian Benteke; Loic Remy; Alex Sorloth & Jordan Ayew.

I detest Alan Pardew - he absolutely ruined CPFC and worse than that - Parish let him do it!
We are I believe still suffering because of him.

Pardew came in and should have had a realistic 5 year plan - he should have worked closely with the board and had a budget, utilise the club, youth set up and get things into gear to be a prem club.

He skipped everything and just wanted the end product to happen without the graft.

In all fairness, where we really messed up is not getting an experienced head in to be DOF to guide us through new waters.

It's funny as england wanted SA to be that person for them, a new era etc... when he came to us i thought - ok it may not be pretty, but it will be stable..

Stability is what we need - they need to indentify now, who to get rid of in july and line up replacments based on a game plan.

Thing is, relegation a lot of the time is a forced reset button, something we really need to do, but not at the expense of the league.

January last year should have been some hard truths... and they shoudl have said, this summer will be a new look squad - who can we keep, who do we need to keep and lets press forward.

We don't know the actual ins and outs, but in hindsight a lot of things could have been different.

he's very fragile though, never had a decent run of games, always injured! How are we supposed to know if hes any good when he hardly ever played

In 39 months at our club he has scored 7 league goals.

Before you say: "He's been injured, you idiot," I submit being fit to play is part and parcel of being beneficial to the club and the fact he has not been is a massive negative against him.

5 goals in 21 with three assists in 15/16
2 goals in 8 in 16/17 when he got injured.

He was just getting into his stride. The best return from a striker since Murray and vastly better than anyone else we’ve got now.

100% worth persevering with.

I had a a bizarre moment where before I scrolled up I thought this was about Bentake.

Wickham has never shown a lack of confidence or desire in my view, just been injured.

Mr G Murray who I admire immensely should be enjoying his success. We didn't want him, well Genius Pards didn't and the Chairman agreed. HIs current success is painful as a Palace fan, a stone in the shoe you can't shake out .

I hope WIckham finds form and fitness, I will hold my hand up and say I doubt he would ever come back but glad he has.

Hopefully he will give us plenty to clap and jump up and down at today otherwise I fear boolox could literally freeze off

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
