Rewards massively outweigh the risk of a few million in my opinion. Wilshere is exactly what we need.

This would be massive. Lets hope it gets done. Also that Jack stays injury free!

ll/1699938/arsenal-transfer-news-jack-wilshere-set-for-move-to-crystal-palace-over-watford-and-bournemouth-after-talks-with-alan-pardew I think the key piece in this Sun article, "Midfielder Yohan Cabaye could be out for several weeks after pulling out of the France squad with a knee injury" Still need to sign a Creative Attacking Midfielder before the Transfer Window closes tomorrow.

So jacks wage is £140k I'm assuming we wouldn't be paying all of that. Not sure after the recent issues we've had how this will go down if he does sign. Anyway just thought I'd mention it.

Thought he was on £80k Arsenal have a pretty strict wage structure for a big club. One season with us and he won't want to leave. Same with Remy I hope.

What is Wilsheres state of fitness as of today? Has he played any football in the last couple of weeks? Am back for the Stoke game, will he stay fit until then? So many questions.

Sky Sports have just reported that Wilshere has narrowed his options from a shortlist of 5 last night to 2 today. Us and Bournemouth. They have also confirmed he met with Pardew yesterday but also met with Howe yesterday. It is believed he has said he will think about it overnight and a decision will be made this morning. Link above shows him as one of their highest earners, on £140k/week. Personally don't think this should put us off as I can't imagine we'd be paying his wage in full, and it does go some way to explain why Arsenal are keen to loan him out. But I think it does put the brakes on any suggestion we would actually buy him. Would cripple our wage structure and cause unrest. Really hope we still loan him though, can't see this doing us any harm.
