The guy is a modern icon of free-flowing football. Even if his being with us just enhaced our public image and helped to wash away the nasty aftertaste of jordan'n'warnocks reign I'd be in favour. I think it would be a great addition to out young squad to have a seasoned pro like Davids on board!

If this is a goer what sort of time scale do you think it'll happen on? Would be great if we could get an idea of firm interest before the weekend and have it wrapped up next week

Would be a brilliant signing although pay as you play is probably the best option for Palace, not sure Davids would agree with that though. Still can't truly believe this is going to happen but hope it does.

If he wants to choose us for the london lifestyle then our only chance of being gazumped would be QPR or god forbid Millwall, and maybe Watford then?
