May's 'deal' is quite dreadful and worse than remaining. After it gets the nod, give it 48 hours for people to realise how bad it is. Few people have seen it, read it, or know anything much about it. Just 'get it over' doesn't matter what. any deal is worse than remaining, that's the whole point. They're not going to give you a better deal than you already have. That's the reason Brexit will never work, we knew that from day 1

Interesting. Just seen this also. Backed into a corner now with nowhere to go. Alternatively it will be just another say what you see statement. Some excitement in this never ending dross pit of despair would be welcome Edited by SW19 CPFC (20 Mar 2019 5.24pm) You could be right, LBC are predicting she will appeal to the nation, what's the point. The nation has spoken and the poll just out makes it clear how most people feel. We are not the problem Parliament and Mrs May are. If we do not leave in the next 3 months she will share a special place history along with Chamberlain.

Well that was a waste of time the woman is an embarrassment. Unless she has the negatives I doubt many MPS will change their minds.

Struggling to understand what the issue is. This 'deal' simply cannot be allowed to pass for a variety of reasons, not least this dreadful backstop which is an effective EU jackboot on our throats for ever. We are legally due to leave on March 29th and if the EU will not grant an extension, then that is it. Done and dusted. As far as I am concerned, it matters not a jot that MP's voted against leaving without a deal. That was never part of the A50 process.
