It literally is, lad. It's parliamentary debate/ process at best. Democracy would be enacting the outcome of a binding public vote. They have no mandate to even attempt to legally implement an extension until the EU signs off on the proposal. Even then, the proposal isn't the established democratic wish of the people. There is nothing democratic about it. It's the opposite. It's the complete bypass of democracy in every sense.

This is how parliament works, lad. Better get used to it; it’s what you voted for. No, it isn't son. Please refer to my definitive post above, digest and retract your nonsense.

Every single law we have has to get voted through both houses. It will be the same if we do actually leave the EU. Democracy in theory is great - in practice there are a hell of a lot of legal hoops to get through to make anything work. People just assuming all will be ace after we leave because we’ve ‘taken back control’ just make me have a rye smile/want to smash my head against a wall repeatedly.

It is legally binding, thank Gina miller for that. We have to leave on the 29th by law as it stands. Don't fight your urge, that's nature doing humanity a favour... Enacting the result of the referendum, as made legally binding by Gina Miller and as pledged during a democratic election manifesto thereafter. Not sure how you've missed this.
