Also most wars and conflicts have propagandised aspects to them because if people seriously considered what was happening or the motivations behind it or who benefits, they would likely be more much hesitant to support it. It was for the people at the time to see the bullsh!t for what it was. If they could not, part of the responsibility is on them, not just the propogandists. There are rare occasions where war is necessary, then there's doing other peoples dirty work and trusting the government as you wave off a family member to God knows where.
