Just curious how many of the anti bbc brigade on here tune in to match of the day? I thought so, oh well, keep watching, and knocking, no hypocracy there!

And it only takes 8,550 people's license fees to pay Mr. Lineker's salary. What a bargain.

Yup that is me CP. It is the only BBC programme I regularly watch. And no I am not a hypocrite. They force me to pay for a licence so why should I not use it. I would be a hypocrite if I didn't pay the licence but still watched.

£150 pa for 1 show a week, not good value.

FYI
Its a football highlights show the quality is only as good as the matches the BBC has no control over that so can't muck it up. I fast forward to miss the experts and would still watch it if it was on another channel, ITV had it once.

BBC match of the day.

if a fecker scores a worldie from 55 yards out ( Darren Ambrose at Old Trafford ) ,
or
a Stadium gets a reputation for failing to recycle their plastics after a game....thus imperilling the UK's ability to meet our targets for the Paris Agreement on climate change.....

which will get the more screams & howls of attention from Linekar, Shearer et al ?

Non story of the week.

Well done BBC after a 20 month investigation into spot fixing you had zilch.

A group of non league footballers talking about spot fixing but no actual spot fixing. They might as well have called it:

"From our own correspondent down the pub"

Meanwhile breaking news from a black cab taxi driver

"Eh I ad that Nigel Farage in the back of the cab the other day, top bloke".

Quality journalism.

Yesterday the BBC website news headlines were all about Partygate etc. although there was a little about the dreadful Texas massacre.
Earlier today the Government gives away £15b to help people and it does not even make the news page!!!
You can find it on the UK page.
Biased beyond belief!!!!!
Sky News the same.
Pathetic biased reporting
When people are struggling the Government are useless but when they help - best not report that eh!!!!!

Not any more; he’s still sulking about Uber and waiting for a payment on a court case against hmg; which ironically will take tax payers cash out of the kitty. Cash that could help the poorest but hey he’s not a hypocrite.
