A comfortable win for Biden. He will use executive orders if he doesn't get co-operation. He has too much power like any USA president. But he is very experienced and will want to take people with him. Climate change, global health, the 'green revolution'. The real subjects facing us now, so good luck Joe Biden.

Trump made his bed, and he and his supporters have to lie in it. Trump had the treatment he deserved 100000% He is a disgrace to humanity, caging children, mocking the disabled, vilifying immigrants, supporting tyrants, attacking allies, denying climate change, attacking democratic ideals, sowing hatred, fear and division. He got what he asked for.

He was and still will be the President until mid January. He was elected in a democracy. Statements like this are show contempt for democracy and the electorate. I fear the Biden's of this world definitely haven't learnt their lesson. They've barely scraped over the line against Trump. It's a win, but a poor performance.
That he did and will hold the position doesn't mean that he fulfilled it, or will behave responsibly in the coming weeks. He has never acted as the President of the USA. He has excluded more than half the people, those who didn't vote for him were regarded as non-entities. That's where the contempt really is. Presidents work for all the people, not just some. Trump never has. Biden is already trying to. The reasons for the detail of the result will not emerge until it is fully known and been analysed. That there is a large body of people who have been sucked in by Trump is clearly true. Why that is needs to be understood and steps taken to offer support for their concerns and reassurance.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

I disengage, I turn the page. |

Shocking. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (09 Nov 2020 3.42pm) Attempting to stop illegal immigration by separating children from parents, who by the way they now cannot repatriate, is inhumane. It is utterly inhumane. I guess in the absence of his wall, paid for by mexico, he is limited on other stupid solutions to a complex issue. "Questioning the validity of man made climate change" yeh, that. Wake up. "Opposing marxists" - what part is that then - mocking disabled people or excusing murder by MBS and Putin? What are you talking about there, Hrolf? Opposing Marxism means you have to suck off MBS?? Protecting the US from Islamic nutters? How about declaring too early that ISIS was defeated and abandoning the Kurdish people. Dont confuse isolationism with effective foreign policy. By "Improving the economy" do you mean riding Obama's coattails then f***ing up the response to covid so badly that the economy tanks and the US has the highest death rate in the developed world? I have a time share you might be interested in.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

Meanwhile, I'm off for a little jog to hopefully burn off yesterday's indulgences.

When she was beaten soundly in an argument she turned to generalities, having been bested on the specifics. Have a good run, was at the gym, masked up at 730am with the missus - took some doing. Speaking of reaping and sowing, I hope Kellyanne Conway finds another job........

FFS you are such a hypocrite you support a candidate who was responsible for Caging children in the first place has mocked and imprisoned minorities for decades with his crime bill which has greatly impacted migrants from Mexico and blacks. Biden has mocked us were an ally and run a campaign on the idea that if you dont vote for him police will shoot you and covid will get you and that if you are a minority and you don't vote for him your a race traitor. Biden is everything that's wrong with politics a regular failure who keeps getting a second bite because the status quo allow him to. I guarantee you now f*** all will change under him and people will feel cheated bit like they did under obama.

That may be a thing trump carried on in good faith. Cant man made climate change be questioned? Muslims are 99% of the worlds active terrorists. You will see Marxism in action within a year. As I said along with some other posters, antifa and blm are goner get hammered. They had their use and until a republican gets back in they wont be around. That will be Marxism on show.
