At least Wilfried Zaha knows now. If you are going to express dissent, don't go for the old sarcastic applause. Just go mad. Scream at the referee or linesman, as Ashley Barnes the Burnley striker did last weekend.
Such 'passion' is fine according to a leading former Premier League official, so long as it doesn't go too far, or God Forbid, boil over into sarcasm.

Oliver Key goes on to sympathise (in a way) and feels Barnes's reaction will do far more harm to the game than Zaha's juvenile sarcasm.

He is right. Zaha was correctly sent off but Barnes has not been censured by the FA. Ironic?

He also goes on to say wilfs a diver and if he thinks his reputation is counting against him, it's a case of reaping what you sow...

Wilf's feet are just too quick for your average clogger defender. VAR should sort it out. And if Wilf is a diver, what does that make Salah?

It would be good if someone could create a compilation of all the fouls Zaha suffered in the game add the Ashley Barnes outburst and post it on youtube so the FA could view it as evidence

Talk about answering your critics. Many of us have given our advise/opinions following the red card at Southampto. Yesterday Wilf came out and gave a magnificent display of skill and controlled emotions culminating in a goal which he literally forced into the net followed by a release of Palace passion in front of the Ultras. Fantastic stuff. It’s what fills Selhurst and makes Palace such a great club to follow.
And furthermore Wilfs performance was combined with another shocking referee performance who not only ignored numerous bad challenges on Wilf but on many players on both teams. It’s just at the moment refs seem to be anti Palace more than the opposition.
Chants of ‘ you don’t know what your doing’ rang around the ground along with clapping of his bookings!
The team stood strong around each other and following the arrival on the pitch of Bats and Meyer turned on a show of football that would have graced the Nou Camp.
Maybe the only reason we didn’t sing ‘are we Barca in disguise’ was because we were better!
I just hope Wilfs show of Palace passion is indicative of him seeing out his career at CPFC and helping us into the Champions league.

When is Wilf’s appeal being heard?

Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time!

Probably waiting until after the Doncaster match so he's banned for the Leicester match.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Then they will hand him a further one match ban for failing to attend!
