UKIP having women MPs, which kind of knee jerk right wing PC nonsense is this. The WI is as close to politics are a UKIP woman should get.

However, you are correct about the SWP handling of the allegations and the reason it is brought up on here is because no matter what you think of UKIP or similar groups, none would stoop to the levels that SWP did on this matter. It is a demonstration of what happens when the misogynist left have to deal with an allegation of this magnitude against one of its premier comrades. Remember all are equal but some are more equal than others. The world needs reminding of the inherent problems in the left.

Neil Hammilton looks set to become a UKIP candidate for the next election. That's one seat surely self sabotaged. Major fcukupukip Major fcukupukip indeed. Hamilton has had to withdraw already because of questions over his expenses. Apparently he charged the party for staying at his wife's flat, among other alleged irregularities. Hamilton claims 'dirty tricks' as expenses row ends Ukip seat bid So much for breaking the mould of British politics. The same old w*nkers lining up to stuff their trousers at other people's expense. Plus ça change.

UKIPs high point in popularity has already passed, it's all downhill from here, folks! The irony of their position as a "protest vote" will be seen for the nonsense it is long before the next election;they are self-imploding. Most of the potential candidates have left (or been drummed out) of the mainstream parties (see Croydon candidate Winston McKenzie). You can fool some people etc. etc.

Just watched it on the commute in, talk about "car crash" TV haha....first question on punch and judy politics how it deters the public from taking an interest then 5 mins later they are shouting over each other again. To be honest, I think Camilla (the journalist in red) was probably the only one who came out smelling of roses as she was the only one who actually was objective enough to tackle the issues at hand. That said, being impartial I guess it was easier, but she was very articulate and would like to hear more from her. Both the labour and conservative MPs were woeful, especially the Labour one. Its like she forgot they were in power last time. Embarrassing. Brand, whilst I agree with some of things he said regarding corporations paying taxes, he majorly slipped up saying he was too scared to stand in case he became one of them. To me that has cemented the view this is just for publicity and nothing more. Farage did well to handle the attacks from Brand and the crazy woman in the audience who I suspect was planted to cause some controversy to be honest. I agreed with the policies on grammar schools and about the NHS. I think what the other parties fail to realise is the more he is attacked personally the more support he will garner. I suspect he gained a fair amount of support last night.
