Blimey Maple. Well, I don't hate you or your kids......You could dress up in EU flag clothes and sing 'Ode to Joy' all day.....Hate?

I know who would thank him, Jacob rich mogg, 7 million times

Of those that push for a second vote.....I imagine few if any of them argued that it was democratic to hold the original referendum.....when it was obvious that a large part of the country was unhappy with the EU. So when they make the argument now for 'sentiment' in the country....well...there is a giant hole in their arguments that they can't fill. They don't really care about fairness....only about winning.

As you know, the young tend to be quite holier than thou. They feel deeply let down Tux is also right, this generation will never forgive the over 65 generation for many things. Their view is that their future was stolen by those who decided to feather their nests at the expense of future generations. DB pensions, control over housing and ridiculous levels of debt being the clearest examples. It seems we are all stuck with being poorer than previous generations and that will get worse as a result of Brexit. Still, maybe it will get better in 20 years' time eh! Meanwhile lets all watch the oldies going on their world cruises.

It’s not at all powerful - it’s a point which I must have read 20 times in this thread alone. Following that, you’ve made up a position, pointed out a hole in said made-up position, an then concluded with a sentence that could be applied to the vast majority of the electorate when it comes to Brexit. Some form of second vote or general election is an inevitably now from what I can see - I don’t see any other way the stalemate is broken; the commons will vote down no deal tonight.

Some voted because all they care about is money and growth, some voted because of suppressed wages, some voted because of to much immigration, everyone is different and no one person is 100% right. All I know is I voted long term and I hope my kids will benifit from my decision.

'Made up a position'? In what way is that made up? It's a statement of reality that I'm happy for you to show me is incorrect.

As for the point about generations Oh please....like this lot are somehow are going to be more ethical than the last lot. The young always talk nonsense. When in reality when they start working and paying tax they will do as much as they can to feather their own nests and than use BS to justify it to themselves and others......just like their parents did.....and the ones before them.
