It simply means that you have an opinion i don't share. I am glad it's predictable. It would simply mean that the referendum result was ignored.

The EU has changed and is still changing and people voted out because of this, this whole episode has highlighted the dangers of being so closely linked to an unelected union. I'm glad I voted leave and have said all along it won't be easy but my kids will thank me in time.

The vote to join the common market was back in....what 73? I was 4 at the time and I'm most unhappy with the EU.....So I think this 'your kids will thank you' stuff is fanciful. The UK economy is doing rather well.....when the forecasters were predicting doom. Indeed, we can't shift some hyprocritical UK haters from the actual UK. I can only hope, that they move to the EU which they love.

Or maybe the EU is right and they will take us back in when they realize the cost/benefit balance and when they have the power back from the generation that 'knew better than them'.

I didn't hear Heseltine asking for a democratic vote about staying or leaving during that time. All to convenient and you lot are so transparent Edited by dannyboy1978 (13 Mar 2019 12.10pm)

And why would that be Mr Heseltine? Because you and the Remainer establishment have dragged this out for all that time and are still dragging it out this week. I find this the height of hubris, refusing to deliver what the public voted for by using delaying tactics and then complaining that as it was sooo long ago that the referendum is no longer valid.
