Sick of reading the s*** about how Wilf needs to sort himself out. Sort out what exactly? He moans, hardly a crime. Last sent off seven years ago, so it's hardly a temper that's been hindering him. He cracked after an incompetent ref completed his ridiculous nights work by booking him. He was fouled, threatened with a ball in the face and then grabbed round the neck and the ref booked him. Not surprised he cracked, but as I said, hardly a weekly occurance.
Also don't see how appealing a ban is nannying anyone, it's about backing your own and taking advantage of the rules. We don't do anything underhand on the pitch, so no problem with a little off the pitch.
Shame so many of our fans don't seem to want to back their own.

He does need to sort himself out. Hasn’t been good this season, won’t be in the running for player of the year at a club that he is apparently ‘ our best ever player’.
On current form he’s the 2nd best winger that we have.

Wilf has been nowhere near as bad as some are painting him. Been involved in many of our goals and attracts three players every time he touches it. Only poor spell has really been when played as a lone forward like Ayew and like Ayew it's done him no favours as neither can do that job.
The Zaha debate, "Grow up,or sort himself out" is an interesting one.
So you're watching a game between under 9s/10s and the skilful kid is taking a kick every time he goes past someone. Are you cheering on the kids to keep kicking him to make him cry and take him out the game or are you screaming at the skilful one to grow up, sort yourself out? As usual in this country we focus on the wrong thing. Apparently Wilf is childish, but what's childish about taking so many kicks that you finally snap and react late in the game. Surely it's more childish for a team to get together and decide, "He's too good for us, let's just keep fouling him till he snaps".
If you want to see players like Wilf kicked out of the game and the star player always being the holding midfield player, then we are going the right way about it.
Finally Arnautovic, if he plays today has a similar temper to Wilf. Are you saying we should go out and kick the crap out of him till he reacts?

I think he should let it be.
As I mentioned previously I would like to see Roy mention it at every press occasion, take advantage of the media, bring the inconsistent refereeing firmly into the spotlight. Roy is well respected and eloquent enough to do this in in a subtle manner.
Mention how VAR should sort out refereeing standards and bring about more even performances from them. Also I would like Luka to be in the refs ear more. "Ref, that's 3 fouls on Wilf now". The team are too subdued when Wilf gets hacked - make a fuss.
And when it looks like Wilf is about to blow, Luka (or anyone really) should get him away from the situation. I would expect Roy to have a good long talk with Wilf, Luka and the rest just about this.

good post.... our players should def be on at the ref and be trying to protect wilf and make sure the opposition cant get away with kicking him. it was s***e hearing deeney saying watford take it in turns to kick him. surely the refs, the fa shpuld be doing something about this. if i was wilf id be pissed too. id be pissed as well if i saw a teammate getting fouled and seeing players deliberately trying to stop him playing his game. wilf needs to be protected from the fouls.
