Gallagher (loan) I’d be well happy with that! (Eze and Brewster especially). Totally get the arguments against the young loanee’s but a good loan at the palace could work out longer term if they don’t get a chance longer term at Chelski or Liverpool when they go back?

Kotchap, Downs Eze, and Gallagher would make it an excellent window. I am fingers crossed confident (no ITK) that a good striker will emerge from somewhere. Illback is a good striker provided he doesn't get ill

1st September 7.13pm we will sign downes next week. Originally posted by Hudsoneagle
Find a Dazza date and I will give you an earlier press link. I’d like to move the topic on to transfers to be honest, I’ve got my opinions but I have to ask myself the question does it really matter if people out there are full of BS or not...the answer is it’s not important enough to me.

We need more than that. Sorry. Eze is a good signing. Ferguson is a good signing. Gallagher is very similar to Eze so it’s unlikely they will both play in the same team. It could happen if Roy makes sweeping changes to the style of football...but if he does that we need A LOT more coming in. Kotchap is playing in Germany’s division 2 and I’d expect he will go straight into the U23s. Downes has been touted to go straight back out on loan. Welbeck is injury prone and doesn’t score enough goals. So for me Palace needed 4 first team players this season and so far we have two. We still need two more attackers preferably a wide man and a striker. Fraser and a striker would have been ideal. Edited by Hudsoneagle (03 Sep 2020 7.21pm)

Gallagher is more of a scrappy box-to-box midfielder in the Cabaye mold. He's strong and good at defensive duties as well as moving the ball forward. I imagine he'll be partnering with Luka as a CM. Eze is a flashy attacking midfielder best suited to a CAM role, but who we'll most likely play as a LM in a 442 (RLC's old position — free to drift centrally as needed). In a midfield 4 I assume we'll play: Eze----Gallagher----Luka----Townsend (or a new signing) I don't think it's a big shift or departure for Roy since it's essentially swapping RLC for Eze and Cabaye for Gallagher (both of which make sense). We had a lot of success with that setup in the past. Edited by AdaSirin (03 Sep 2020 7.38pm)

I suggest you don’t respond to my posts if you’re going to be rude. You are the one who suggests I give a time and date and you will find a link that shows Dazza has got his story rehashed from somewhere else to which I did- not my idea. You are also the one who engaged in conversation with me, so if you’re not going to be able to prove yourself right, please don’t retaliate by calling me a joke. I’ve treated you with respect; so do the same: Originally posted by Hudsoneagle

I don't why this angers people as much as it does. It's not as though any of us make any difference to it all. There are always people who get titbits of info and yeah of course there will be fakes. If a signing does or doesn't happen it isn't proof of either really. I say just enjoy the buzz or don't read it.....like I never read the start of rumour threads on another player.....I can only be bothered to read once it's obvious the club are genuinely interested.
