Mt friends dads sisters boyfriend works at the Waitrose and she told me he went for the Indian in the end. But He then had to decide if he was having a Korma or Tikka Masala....

Reliable source I promise

In all seriousness Burnley have been the ones I've been a bit worried about, we couldn't offer what they could, what with their parachute money. Could still argue we're a bigger club then they are, but they're certainly richer right now.

He probably won't come here but in all honesty we're all guilty (me included) of boosting this bloke's credentials for the job through the roof. I am also guilty of wanting Howe so we get one over Charlton. That is not the basis for employing a manager!

The major concern is player recruitment. I think cpfc2010 should do one of three things. 1: Convince Coppell to come back 2: Speak to other candidates this week with the aim to have our choice of manager in place on Friday to 'observe' Saturday's game. 3: Trust Dougie to get on with it. The players have already said he's a good coach, he just needs an experienced assistant.

So, let's hope this circus ends soon. If Charlton get Howe then good luck to them. They'll gloat a bit like we would if he came here. Ultimately time will tell if Howe made a good choice.

In my opinion if he's going to leave Bournemouth he'd be mad not to come to us:

- Charlton. Lower division. Not guaranteed to be promoted.

- Burnley. Would mean moving up North. Ugly women. Cold.

- Palace. Still possible to easily to stay up. Not too far from Bournemouth. A decent contract plus a bit of money to splash in the transfer market.

might be missing a point here but quality aside, if he is taking this much time to make his mind up, shouldnt we be looking for someone who actually WANTS to manage us??, not someone we a re basically begging to manage us??

We have limited funds and time re the transfer window, stop arsing about after Mr Dither and get someone in sharpish please.

I assume you are basing that on the recent advertiser article. He didn't actually say anything that said he had given up on howe, reading it, he seemed to just be playing his cards very close to his chest.

Laddo great post. I wanted him a bit before but am now desperate to have him and through my rose coloured glasses see him as the next great thing just because the pikeys want him.

All your points 1,2 and 3 should all happen and this time CPFC 2010 not all eggs in one basket.

Saying that he still might choose us in which cans ehe is the next great thing and well done him his wise choice!!! A true gent!!!

I'm sure cpfc2010 are not sitting around waiting for the phone to ring their not the sort to put their eggs in one basket.
