However, I don't think he puts himself about enough at times.

Definitely think the bigger issue here is the lack of options. We're flogging the poor bloke to death every week.

Hopefully if Ayew is fit he can fill that role. Would love Wickham to get back to where he was in the cup final season, but that is a big ask. Sørloth just doesn't look up to it at all so far.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

Is there any truth in the rumour that he is being coached by Calvin Andrew?

And for those of you saying we won't get anything for him, I think you're being a bit dramatic. Players have been much sought after during poor patches many times in the past - how many times has somebody forked out for Balotelli? And wasn't Pato the same?
Chinese clubs would happily take him on those wages, and its a league where he could start scoring again. This or MLS is the best spot for him now.

And pay us say 15m - 20 m as well? Seriously doubt it. It may come to it that we want to offload him to get him off the books. And no, I have not forgotten about his goals that kept us up 2 seasons ago but one can sense the crowd may soon turn and that I think will be the end.

Belgium manager Martinez is quoted by HLN as saying: “There are some worries around Benteke’s knee". Another injury?

Absolutely. We've been wheeling him out, regardless of his form or fitness, for far too long.

It's not Benteke's fault that we remain bizarrely over-reliant on him.

Ask me about Ronald de Boer.

I heard he was having private coaching sessions from Ade Akinbiyi

Not to wish ill on any player, especially a palace player, but it might force a start for Sorloth. I know he hasn't been any good but if he were to have a couple of starts under his belt it might do him some good.

The worst case would be we'll see why Roy picks Benteke over him week in week out

If Sorloth starts and is set up with some good chances and misses all of them we are no worse off than we have been with Benteke in opening four games

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Benteke injured with Belgium' by Midlands Eagle

He has now withdrawn return date unknown yet.
