I didn't say I was stopping! I said I was "resting my case". On that one issue alone, so that the jury could decide for themselves! I anticipated that the accused would continue to protest from the dock, and wasn't wrong. I expect they will again, although no doubt "politely". I will join in as many other discussions as I see fit.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

If there was a thread on Diane Abbott and the issue was raised in it I might comment, but probably not. This thread is about "Robinson" and his behaviour and diversion attempts generally fail with me. For the record I think she is an appalling woman, but that's for another time. No it is a thread about Robinson,and the bias of the BBC.

Oh I voted to remain and continue to believe that it is better for us to be inside trying to direct the needed changes than outside on our own in today's changing world. My hope is that the MPs will man(and woman) up and do their duty, which is to use their own conscience to deliver what they believe is best for the country, and not just what the misinformed electorate narrowly voted for 3 years ago. I am useless at art and have never been a teacher. I spent my working life in the commercial world, ending up as the MD of the UK subsidiary of a major international company based in Germany, whose brand name you will most likely know. Their products are in every supermarket. I then owned two businesses of my own, developing one and selling it to a group, before buying the next, getting cancer and deciding to retire. Enough detail for you? Want my inside leg measurement too? You just said the post is about Robinson and now your off on a tangent about Brexit.

If all the knife criminals are anything to go by, he will turn up to jail, get searched in all of his orifices, get changed into his prison uniform, get put in a holding cell, then get washed and fed and a train ticket home.

No it is a thread about Robinson,and the bias of the BBC. The precise title, just in case it passed you by is "BBC fake news-Tommy Robinson". Now whilst that seems a misleading title to me, as it should really say "Alleged" before the BBC, it got past the moderator and I cannot change it. However it clearly is about the assumed bias of the BBC over it's coverage of "Robinson" and not about Diane Abbott.
