No the opposite is happening, car manufacturers are leaving. Honda, Toyota, Nissan. 80% of cars made here are exported. Without a free trade agreement like we currently have there is no point building cars here I know that I said that I wouldn't respond to any of your project fear bulls*** any more but I find your Project Fear bulls*** difficult to be left unchallenged. Honda may well be pulling out of manufacturing in the UK in a couple of years time for reasons that they claim to be unrelated to Brexit but Toyota and Nissan are not. Nissan have said that the new X Trail won't be built in Sunderland as the UK and Europe have fallen out of love with diesels so it will be built in Japan and sold to their local Asian market

Whether you can afford to pay more isn't the point, why would you want to? that's the case if there's a no deal Brexit. If you advocate a no deal brexit then you want to pay more and have less choice and freedom Who's to say we are not going have free trade with South eastern Asian countries that produces cars? The UK have not been allowed to negotiate trade deal whilst still being under the Nazi club! Yes we should leave with no deal and trade with wto rules! This will only be until we get our own deals globally! Under no way we should be giving the EU £39 billion as a settlement!

We're currently negotiating with the Chinese and Japanese, our idiot politicians have screwed up talks and the Japanese have said we won't get as good a deal as what we had as part of the EU. Nice to know you don't want the UK to pay the 39bn but are happy to pay more for goods as a result. How many other brexiters are happy to subsidise a no deal brexit from their own pocket?

We import a considerable amount from Japan ( £9.9b )and can play just as hardball as they are and can tell Japan that they won't get as good a deal as they got from the EU and it will end up hurting them in their pockets too

We're a smaller market - fact, they are concerned about our future relationship with the EU, perfectly reasonable. Being hard nosed about it gets you nowhere. What I still don't get is why you advocate such a position which makes you as a consumer worse off?

Article 50 is revocable. That is the best way forward IMO as the UK is left high and dry, it simply has no bargaining power. Jumping off a cliff is not bothering the EU or anybody else.

That would actually remove Mrs May's appalling deal, and 'no deal' altogether.
