So you agree with me. An influence from ANOTHER country would meen it's not English.

The argument we as a nation are having is we are importing influences from OTHER countries that we don't want. We are a developed country taking influences from un developed countries. I think the penny has dropped with you DanH but your being stubborn!!

Personally I couldn't give a monkey's about Persian rugs only that they are suppose to be good rugs. And as Hrolf was suggesting not everything is bad that comes out of parts of Asia. Now DanH makes a good point about taking the best bits out of different cultures, you would look lovely in a nikab.
