I have to say that quite simply, I was always pro-Brexit And I live in the EU. However, the government, the EU and the media are making me think that, currently, it isn't worth it. Better the devil you know (are already part of).

And for the sake of the terminally stupid I will post the following extract from their statement:- "Honda said the move was due to global changes in the car industry and the need to launch electric vehicles, and it had nothing to do with Brexit."

No, that isn't a statement from Honda. It is the transcript of an interview If you read the interview carefully it doesn't say Brexit was not a factor, only that they would have coped had the issue been Brexit alone and not compounded (my word) by other global trends. Are you arguing with yourself? As you know, I am the most argumentative person on the HOL But no. Any statement that Brexit had nothing to do with Honda's decision is 'fanciful'. It was one of the factors. The Japanese are always careful what they say and we will never find out if it was a minor or a major reason. But it was in the mix.

If this was about Brexit they wouldn't' be moving all their production back to Japan by 2021 and instead would re-direct it within Europe. As usual those with agendas want to overstate their case. Wages continue to rise since Brexit was announced and unemployment continues to drop. I've heard nothing but disasters predicted by remainers from before the referendum and after it..... yet there continues to be a gap between what they say and reality on the ground. You might be right about the establishment succeeding in wrecking Brexit from happening.....but to be honest if they do manage to succeed in doing that.....I can't see things being any better. In the meantime the EU is very close to recession.

'Customers could see higher prices and less choice as a result of the proposed merger between Sainsbury's and Asda.' [Link] No mention of Brexit to blame. Surely a first?
