Great comeback. Well done engaging with the points I made.
Funnily enough, it only makes the side bar on the BBC home page (Honda closure is No.1 story). It's almost like the BBC elites are a bunch of remainer c***s. Edited by Penge Eagle (19 Feb 2019 12.01pm)

On the subject of Japan Trade deal I read that UK is also negotiating with the Japanese. Important points to note Talks almost collapsed because our idiot politicians tried to accuse them of not showing the same desire They were unprepared and had arrived at meetings without specialists capable of taking the talks forward which annoyed them further We will not get as good a good deal as the one just agreed with the EU - Fact China were also pissed off and cancelled talks when another one of our morons Philip Hammond threatened to deploy an aircraft carrier in the south Pacific This is Taking back control.....

More fake news from HOL's very own disseminator of fake news. You state - We will not get as good a good deal as the one just agreed with the EU - Fact. Please justify your alleged "fact" Attachment: fake news.jpg (93.80Kb)

As I said, you are a purveyor of fake news. That article that you are basing your comment of "fact" on actually states that Japan are hoping to obtain better terms which is a long way from being "fact" If anything the UK's hand will be strengthened by the announcement that Honda is relocating it's manufacturing back to Japan as that will mean an extra 10% tariff on their cars under WTO terms

The Civic line produced at Swindon is not for the UK market. There is no UK 'hand' to play.....

It stands to reason, we're a smaller market and they are concerned about our future relationship with the EU, rightly so. By the way, how does Hondas being more expensive benefit us?

We are a smaller market but a substantial one nevertheless as imports to UK from Japan accounted for 18% of their total exports to the EU Originally posted by Pussay Patrol
