Yep. That’s how it’s always worked.

He doesn’t actually have to appeal, he just has to time his decision NOT to until after the game.

It's an utter disgrace .
Meanwhile Stephens, who in the same match, tried to do grievous bodily harm to Andros, faces no penalty at all.
Not to mention the clown who provoked Wilf by spitting on the ground in front of him, then patting his face, and celebrating the red card with the crowd, who also gets off Scot free.

Welcome to premiership football. The more wilf moans, rants and gets wound up, every team we play against will do the same thing. Stephens was a bad foul that wasn't given, it happens, get over it.

"Stephens was a bad foul".
The understatement of the season.

Agreed. Wilf gets an extra long ban for clapping when these actions were much worse

Let's not forget that cheat Salah, who falls over with the faintest wisp of wind right under the ref's nose

wonder if the FA privately agree the reffing was shyte and have set this up to be a symbolic punishment...(which would assume they think we'll beat Donny without him)

it's good Roy has been playing Wilf in the cup. shows he'd be there if available, makes it a real punishment.

let's be honest, it wasn't great what he did. not terrible but not great. no matter how crap they are, refs deserve respect from players on the pitch at every level.

my lad's been playing fifa, getting Wilf sent off, and trying to find a 'sarcastic clap' button. he's also been re enacting it. so Wilf is a role model to at least one palace mad kid.

obviously this doesn't have any baring on whether the fa is a competent or consistent administrator -- it clearly isn't

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

This might work in our favour if Wilf's suspended for Doncaster as I think he got booked right near the end of the Spurs FA Cup game. As this season if you get 2 FA Cup bookings means you miss a game, it would mean Wilf would be available for the 6th rd if we get through.
