Sums them up really.....

"To all the Palace fans, you don't know what you're talking about. You are a club who only just managed to escape relegation and the club totally disappearing, and you're going down this season. The championship is a hard league and you won't just suddenly become amazing because of EH. The thing is Charlton have new owners and money to offer, they are offering EH a job to get us into the prem with a decent amount of money and stay as a prem manager. No disrespect to bmouth you are a great team and have surpassed everyone's expectations with EH at the helm, but you just don't have the money to get up to the prem. If he goes to palace it will ruin his career, so either stay at bmouth or come to us. But with money it's so much more likely that we will get to the prem before bmouth..."

I love how everyone actually thinks we're skint!!! brilliant

I love how money is the answer!

Pikeys will sell anything.

And we have none either obviously. I love the escaped relegation and we're disappearing... I did point out that we DIDN't get relegated, and even if EH goes there they still need to gain promotion twice! We only need to survive and build!

For f*cks sake Murray!!

He's a c*** for even considering Charlton as a viable option. Fair enough if he stays put.

Edited by Kosowski (10 Jan 2011 5.40pm)

Well thats not really a very subjective view is it. Your purely saying that because its Charlton.

Perhaps they are promising to spend big money, add to that the fairly modern stadium they have, then Charlton is a viable option.

I'm not going to say we are a worse option, but certainly I can see why Charlton would interest him.

Take the red n blue rose tinted spectacles off.

Why dont you put he Bournemouth spectacles ON and see how leaving them to join a promotion rival to try and get promotion at Bournemouth's expense is not going to go down well with Cherries fans.
I would be mildly disapointed but he wasn't my first choice. A short term deal for Coppell was.
If I was a Bournemout fan though and he doe go to Charlton I'd be furious

Concerned that DF will be in charge for Saturdays game. Not necessarily regarding the protracted and dull EH story but the lack of time available in the transfer window. New squad signings are just as important as signing a new manager right now. If SP is telling us on Monday that DF will be in charge for Saturday I think that tells us all we want/need to know. CPFC2010 should be looking to appoint someone suitable asap. Why are we waiting a further week? The timing of all this is a real problem. Could leave us 2 weeks to find, agree terms and sign the right players. Thats madness.

CPFC2010 please get this management situation resolved one way or another asap. Dougie could do the job til the end of the season with Stevie kember as his number 2. Bring this pointless saga to a close and lets focus on getting new blood in and progressing up the league!!

Austin is Number 2.
Kember is a Scout.

I know fella but kember has been in the management structure before and has more, you'd hope, insight into managing that Austin. No disrespect to Austin. Kembers raport with the players etc previously was apparently excellent as a coach.

Like calling one of your current players a waste of space???

Sorry lost me on this one? Who's he called a waste of space??

That's how he described Rubins.

When you said current players I thought you meant 'current' 2010 players. Speedy was apparently hopeless and lazy in training and again 'apparently' had a terrible attitude problem.

Rather unprofessional to say so in public, though, wouldn't you say?

If SP is saying Dougie will lead the team Saturday Howe isn't coming to us. Charlton fans on this board really believe they are bigger than us. How sad they are. I'd love to see them fail again this season.

Sad bunch over there. They really think their something special. Joining a side who sacked their manager doing well seems silly to me.

I've heard from an unreliable source he's 100% bang on to come to palace.
