The EU need to find that money from somewhere!! Interesting, I am not familiar with the EU budget process but have they indicated how they will deal with the loss of revenue from the UK? Will other countries be asked to pay more or will they reduce spending? Or are they expecting growth within the EU to make up for the shortfall?

Asking other states to cough up as they are not prepared to cut back! Which would surely mean higher taxes for EU workers!

The Guardian? Chuckle! Yes. the usual mainstream anti Brexit nobbies have been calling it a crisis for some time. Funny, I don't feel worried in the least. Anyone else have a feeling of impending doom? I'm more concerned about what takeaway I'm having this weekend.

I don't see where this continuing carping at the EU is getting anyone, apart from the inability to face up to our own problems. The EU is entirely realistic about brexit, that it is an economic hit for them and its future agreement with the UK is a damage limitation exercise. And leavers think this is good for the UK?

Yes as both German and French economies rely heavily on exports to UK and Spain, Italy and Greece won't want to do anything that might damage tourism

Hardly an improvement now is it? Life gets harder for everyone. Still, we take back control. Until the US hits our companies with fines for non-compliance and then the EU starts doing likewise. It's all a mirage for self-servers to manipulate the populace. So was membership of the EU but that looked like the least worst solution to me and at least I had the chance to live and work in a bunch of new and lucrative places. I recommend reading the 18th Brumaire of Louis Bonaparte.

Laughter in the EU parliament as Farage and co are trapped into admitting that they have not even read Mrs Mays withdrawal agreement. As leavers know but will never say, it is all pain for the UK with no gain whatsoever. But why read it anyway I mean it is only your countries future, and it prevents your being ruled by the european super state, doesn't it? Actually no, the opposite, but don't let it interrupt your day.....

When Germany sneezes the rest of the EU zone better stock up on some Vit C.

Yes they need us much more!
