Could any tory minister be even more hapless than Grayling? Step up Gavin Williamson... 'Brexit 'can enhance UK's lethality', says defence secretary. 'Lethality'???? Williamson actually thinks that you can buy second-hand ferries and use them as a beach assault force....

A Labour MP and members of the "People Vote" campaign attempted to hand in a 50,000 signed petition to Labour Party HQ. Unfortunately for them no one at HQ was prepared to take delivery. I guess we can draw our own conclusions from that. Mind you 50,000 people is hardly a large number, it seems there is very little appetite for a 2nd referendum despite what some people would like to believe.

According to John Sargeant immigration news was a taboo subject both at the BBC and ITV when he worked there and he thinks this had an impact on Brexit.

If you think this country is divided spare a thought for our Spanish friends. It looks like they are going to have a 3rd General Election in 5 years. They look to be fracturing.

Here of course with the fixed term parliamentary act, we are unable to turf out a useless government like the present one. Really designed to preserve tory rule regardless.
