I would suspect that this is a separate charge to the suspension served for the red card. Too bad we didn't catch the panel on one of their inconsistent days. Still I'd appeal it and have him available for the Spammers. That would seem to be the case. The Independent is a bit clearer on it than the club statement:
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Wilf Ban' by Midlands Eagle What about the fact the punishments were supposed to relate to the competition that was being played in when the offence was committed, in which case he would not be able to offset this ban against the FA Cup match and given that he will have already played in the Wet Spam match it would have to be delayed to the Leicester away match? If that is indeed the case then I would rather he missed this weekends match as he plays well against Leicester and we play well as a team away, so I would definitely fancy getting 3 points there.

Suspensions always count cup games as they are still FA competitions I thought?

One match ban and a £10K fine - ban suspended pending any decision to appeal Well now, what is interesting is the FA have given Wilf the right of appeal over a routine csse . . . WHY? Is there doubts is there social media playing a part. Is this a new pointer to the FA's thinking. Need to dig deeper & not by willopedia
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Happy if it does, but not 100% sure on that. It is the case. Always has been. Plus look at how the papers have reported on this saying he could miss the Donny game instead. It would be immensely complicated, for instance, if a player could have a ban of a few games but end up actually playing a few games here and there because he isn’t ‘banned’ in that competition. I think the exception are the Champs League where you can be banned in THAT competition but not the domestic league and vice versa because they are different governing bodies involved.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Wilf Ban' by Midlands Eagle Did Wilf have legal representation? Sorry if this seems an obvious question, but it got me wondering. Who supplies the representative: the club or the player?

He can appeal but if he loses they can increase the ban and the fine. He can play on Saturday and then accept the decision on Saturday 6pm.
