To suggest he hasn’t been supported through this period is nonsense. After Bournemouth penalty fiasco and the gifted penalty to him against Leicester we were all on his side. He hasn’t pushed on from there. I’m still supportive of him and would never boo a palace player. I just feel he has had long enough but hope something goes for him and he kicks on. I just don’t think he has it in him any longer

Looked back at Benteke’s chances against the Saints, 3 of them were very difficult, but the remaining 2 were gilt edged.

I want him to do well for the team and himself, but last season and the start of this one, which has started off in the same vain I feel we have persevered for long enough now. Let’s go back to what we were doing well towards the end of last season. Admittedly we have lost Cabaye and RLC, but we have adequate replacements in Kouyate and Meyer, so there are no excuses. Play Wilf and Andros up front...

I agree its now more than taking chances. Both he and Ayew were easily shoved off the ball on Saturday, he doesn't run at defences, he gets rid as soon as he has it. He has pretty much has nothing to offer in his current mindset.
To imagine that Sorloth could make the leap from the Danish league to the Premier League without regular games is crazy.
I reckon loan Benteke back to Liege to get his confidence back and just get Sorloth game time in his absence. I am sure we can find the three goals elsewhere!
