How anyone can think ''highly'' of any politician is beyond me. Much truth in that. But to single out one particular politician who is by no means the most corrosive seems inexplicable, especially considering that, as US Presidents go, he seems more amiably disposed towards the UK than many of his recent predecessors. Edited by Cucking Funt (14 Jul 2018 1.31pm) You’re over looking a lot here. A whole mountain of stuff in fact. The guy is a t***. He can’t even structure a sentence properly. That alone should see him unsuitable as President. Speaking properly when addressing the world should at least be a pre-requisite when you’re a candidate.

Breaking protocol will be but his first responsibility and priority is his country and citizens, and we should’ve been prioritising the same years ago.

The recent comedy I heard from lefties was that North Korea didn’t have nuclear power anyway. Couldn’t stop laughing. He can’t win with them so ignore them. I get women not liking him but he’s an elected leader so until otherwise, that’s how democracy works, unless you became an adult 3 years ago.

They’ve upped their nuclear production since meeting Trump. This is after promising to stop their program.

Baring in mind he’s not meant to be there for entertainment. Edited by Brentmiester_General (14 Jul 2018 5.07pm)

But the thing I like most about him is the type of people he gets frothing at the mouth and spluttering indignantly: he's certainly pushed your buttons. Nothing personal or anything (I actually rate you as a HOL poster very highly - always have) but, really, he's utterly unremarkable in the 'offensive' stakes compared with other holders of his office.

As for entertainment....well I seem to remember the media loving Obama's stand up routines and appearances on TV.....So a president is also about media and message. Trump is president because he's a response against a lot of things....globalization, political correctness, a poor economy. 12 percent of Sanders supporters voted for him too.....that's the key to Trump's base....a rejection of the same old same old....You have to remember the alternative to Trump was Clinton. But yeah....I really enjoy seeing the far left lose their sh1t over him....all it does is help him with moderates because a lot of the far left are so neurotic that people see Trump's opposition as extreme.
