Todays first download is a set by The Police which was recorded in Tokyo, Japan in 1981. I seem to recall that this band were huge around this time and had a few top selling albums and loads of singles. A lot of the singles are on this bootleg which is in superb quality and a wicked set... This was recorded while the band were on tour promoting the "Zenyatta Mondatta" album... this is a top notch sounding boot and is thoroughly recommended....... Todays second download is a fairly recent one by White Lies that was recorded at the HMV forum in Kentish Town, London in January this year. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set that was recorded and broadcast on BBC Radio 1. The band play songs from their new album "Ritual" as well as a few from their previous album "To Lose My Life". This is a crackin' boot - thoroughly recommended...... Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted and I know nothing about them. They are called Night Ranger and Wiki tells me that they've been around since the early 80's. The bands first 5 albums sold over 10 million copies and gave them international recognition. They were formed in San Francisco and called themselves Ranger - this was changed when a country band claimed trademark infringement. They split in 1989 and reformed in 1991 and are still going today, although there have been a few line up changes over the years.... This is the original line up of the band... they rock..... Todays first download is a 3 volume bootleg by Aussie rockers AC/DC. These 3 volumes contain Sessions, Rarities and B Sides - from various sources - Studio, Soundboard and some FM broadcast. The quality is superb and they are a must have for any AC/DC fans. Some contain dj chat - in french, but only a few tracks.. Some rare stuff on this one...... artwork for each volume is in the file.
