This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Wilf Ban' by Midlands Eagle I'm torn on this one. Wilf certainly is fouled a lot but so is Townsend and he doesn't bitch like a little girl. Wilf is a great player and could be one of the best the premiership has seen IF he stops whining about being fouled and just gets on with his game. HOWEVER.... some of the refereeing decisions we have seen at Selhurst this year have been utterly disgusting. And not just at Selhurst but also when we are away, the tackle on Townsend that could have easily broke his leg didn't even get a foul let alone the deserved red card. It's not just us either, to much is being missed by the officials, the Elbow from the Weed wnaker last night, Bindippers obvious Offside goal. and the very obvious penalty not given by Anthony Taylor, in fact he booked the Burnley player for diving, in what was the most blatant nailed on stone wall pen I have ever witnessed, and all that lot was one weekend!! So I get why Wilfs frustrations boil over. It's like being bullied at school. telling the teacher,, and them doing nothing about it, eventually you're going to snap and do something about yourself. But he does get paid a stupid amount of money, so he should be better at holding his tongue and just getting on with it.

It’s not clear if it means an ADDITIONAL match or not. I would imagine, though, that this means just ‘one match ban’ and the fact he has served that already is beside the point. Talksport say he will miss the West Ham game.

Talksport say he will miss the West Ham game. Not necessarily... it depends when he has to lodge an appeal by. The ban is suspended while he considers his appeal. If done right, he could take the ban for the Doncaster game

Talksport say he will miss the West Ham game. It seems Talks***e might be wrong. The ban is not effective until he’s decided whether to exercise his right to appeal for which he should have 3 days (working). That being the case, he could hold out until then, play Saturday & take the ban for the FA cup game. Edited by Nobbybm (07 Feb 2019 4.01pm)

Too bad we didn't catch the panel on one of their inconsistent days. Still I'd appeal it and have him available for the Spammers.

He only has to ‘respond’ within 3 working days... he doesn’t have to lodge an appeal. Respond after the West Ham game saying he will accept the finding and won’t appeal and there you go, suspended for Donny.
