Me and the missus have moved recently and are doing a bit of redecorating in the living room. We are big fans of all things retro and are looking for some intersting pieces to complete that olden days look. We want to get one of those small radios that were popular in the 60's-70's, you know the ones post the old Bakerlite 50's stuff, portable, large dials for tuning to Radio Luxembourg but cant seem to find any in our area. We are willing to pay well over the odds for one. I know Brighton has a lot of shops that cater for this retro craze and wondered if Lancing knows where the best place is to pick up an expensive little tranny with a large knob in the area ?
Whilst you are on I wonder if you could help a friend of mine. He has just started at a company that sells men recovering from ops with mobility aids so they can get about quickly. He has been given his new 'patch' which is in the Lancing area in which he has led to believe there is an extreme shortage of such aids. Tell me, are all the guys in the Lancing area really crying out to get their hands on as many crutches as possible ? Edited by The Sash (18 Mar 2010 8:45pm)

I hear there's a lot of waterfront construction going on down in Brighton at the moment. Have any Brighton fans been filled in regarding the Piers' erection?
WORRIED that your teeth will be stained after a heavy night drinking red wine? Fear not; drink a bottle of white wine before going to bed, to remove the stains. |

My cousin in Brighton phoned me last night and he was complaining of a really bad toothache. Lancing, can you recommend any good dentists for him to go to for a really good filling?

i've just had my chimney swept by a Sussex sweeper. Unfortunately, some debris fell on his head, without warning during the sweeping process. Brighton fans, have you ever been taken by surprise up the flue ? Edited by Forest Hillbilly (19 Mar 2010 4:20pm)

Yes, I am obsessed...my you are perceptive I wonder if you could turn that keen mind to advise a buddy of mine who is looking to start a turkey farming venture right next to your ground in Falmer and he is thinking of opening on match days would be a real benefit to his profits. Is there likely to be a big call for gobblers in the near future when Brighton are at home and what are they likely to be willing to pay for one?
