Just heard that apparently police have shot someone who was armed with explosives in the Docklands area...... Unconfirmed but this has come from the brokers floor.......

Apparently Sky have confirmed that the bus bomb was a suicide bomber.

Talk of police marksmen taking out a man attemtping to get into building in Canary Warf with bomb???

Just got back in and found out about this on the news.

I got a horrible sinking feeling in my gut. I was working in London at the time of the Oxford street bombs and also saw too much of this in Northern Ireland.

I hope everyone on here who has friends and relations in the area finds them safe. Unfortunately there will be others who won't be so lucky.

This type of thing is the only kind of event that really makes me fill with anger.
