I read this earlier and tend to sit on the fence with this. I believe it is a fine balance between fitness after injuries, personnel in terms of actual quality, tactics from management etc. What I saw today though was amazing spirit and fight.

I wrote my previous post almost provocatively, to tempt fate Dartford! I stand by it however as we have lacked fight all season. The points you make/have identified about the squad I'd very much agree with however.

We were waiting on the 'Glasner/new manager effect'. It may well have arrived. Fingers crossed it has however yesterday's result is monumental nevertheless. COYP!!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I will post the same in many threads.
I did not expect that amazing result yesterday and while we are not technically safe, I can now see how we will stay up.
Much humble pie to be eaten over the coming days as I was convinced that we were on the way out.

Until we are mathematically safe I will always worry. I can’t ever erase the scars from the Oldham situation in the final week of 92/93.

I think we will survive now but we could really do with something from either the West Ham or Newcastle games.

You would hope the West Ham game could provide a positive result. They play midweek - and their firm has been poor.

As others have said, I feel we are fine now

We gained 8 points from the reverse fixtures against the 6 upcoming opponents. No reason we can't at least match that, given 4 of those 6 games are at home) and hit the 40 point mark yet again.

Oh i don't know, the ICF were a top firm, even made a docu-film about them . . . Gary Oldman anyone.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Made me chuckle

IMHO we have some great spelling mistake/typo/predictive text humour on here.

All the more enjoyable off the back of ruining title dreams once more, and this time at Anfield.

Everton could be deducted further points for spending £300m and still being cr”p

It's doing Everton's goal difference a world of harm.
