I am totally speechless at the managerial and coaching incompetence, the club is a complete laughing stock. Not to mention we can't even sign a decent striker. Looks like Parish is equally lost as Hodgson. Difference between success and failure might be a fine line sometimes, but in this case it is a chasm. I can't believe Parish can hang on to either Roy or his own job after this embarrassment.

I think with better coaching this squad can do better. Olise and Eze paper of the cracks of Hodgson's incompetence.

He has his method but its not getting any results.

An experienced player out of position is better than an inexperienced one with potential.

This means he wont develop players proactively with meaningful game time.

He is loathe to drop players but Henderson is not as good as Johnstone - its as clear as can be.

His so-called organisational skills are hard to spot right now.

We cant defend or score corners.

We cant press effectively.

It’s not just Roy that has to go the clubs a fvcking joke and Parish persuaded him to take the job for another season as no one else wanted it.

We just got stuffed by a better side, playing better football, with a better manager, A Better chairman and who have a better ground that came up season after us.

There’s nothing else to say, we just need to take this up arse as it’s what we deserve.

Roy has had his day,it's time to walk away!!
Other teams below us showing some fighting spiri, notably Luton who will pull ahead of us soon.
We are sleep walking towards relegation under Roy,who must go now!!

The Squad is good enough, the manager isn't, out now

I agree with all of what you say Array but would add;

1. What is going on behind the scenes with Johnson, clearly something is. Played so well last season and up to his injury this, to get into the England squad yet he falls completely out of favour, so much so that if it’s true he was close to being sold or loaned out on deadline day. We have shipped 16 goals in 3 games with Henderson in goal but still he isn’t brought in.
2. Olise and Eze …..two terrific players who when fit carry the team and here is the problem. Time is dictating that they are injury prone with hamstring being
common to both (appreciate Eze has also had an ankle problem). Is our training the problem, given also that Zaha experienced the same, bring comments from the Galatasary doctor.
3. The Sheffield Utd game papered over the cracks and todays match brutally exposed the truth that the players aren’t responding to Roy’s instructions and therefore he has lost the dressing room. We need a new man at the helm as things will get worse.
It’s a results driven business and no room for sentiment.

Bring back Brolin

The debacle at the top has resulted in the coaching situation which has spelt disaster in the pitch.

I'm furious and sick of Roy's Palace/football however I do also feel a bit sorry, if not for him for the situation. Must qualify as elder abuse by this stage surely.

We've spent a load of money on a very poor keeper which is beyond bizarre but I think it speaks to a transfer policy concentrating solely on business and not football. Our transfer policy seems not to have been determined from a footballing standpoint and has not been for a while.

As for Roy, using today as an example:

- Picking an inferior GK over a superior one
- Changing formations and selecting players purely to be as negative and workmanlike as possible, resulting in no creativity, pace or intent. He hasn't the coaching expertise to improve things.
- An inability to fathom what to do at set-pieces both attacking and defensively.
- Bringing on arguably our most valuable and effective asset to get injured when his situation was precarious already and the game was lost.
- A team that looks bereft of motivation, identity and fight therefore conceding early every game and losing most of them.
- Fans fed up with the perfect storm of both utterly soul destroying and now ineffective football.
- Biting back at fans for their egregious position of being dissatisfied with the above and generally refusing to take responsibility.

He really has lost the plot, he's unfit for purpose and a detriment to us. I'll happily ignore any 'Well what else should he do/what would you do?' questions, the club can pay me half Roy's wage and I'll put some sincere effort into it if that's anybody's 'go to'. As it stands, things are broken. Don't fix them when they are not, do when they are.

The longer this goes on, the more agitated the fans get and the worse the effect on the team. There's a good chance we'll go down anyway but we almost certainly will with Roy and half the fanbase will have succumb to fatal boredom and despair in that time.

We have the third worst goal difference in the league - relegation form.
We're joint second lowest scorers - relegation form.
We've not scored from a corner since 1952 - relegation form.
Our best players are all getting injured - relegation form.
2 wins in 14 games - relegation form.

This is an absolute sh!tshow of the highest order.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Roy is taking this team down.
The current situation is a result of poor transfer dealings, Parish's complacency and lack of ambition in not progressing the club and using cheap yes men.
If Roy does go, for the love of God it must not be McCarthy, no qualification/experience at all to run a 'premiership' team.

Pretty much sums it up for me!
The lack of decisive action is criminal.

I think we have the making of a very good team which would be attractive to would be new managers. Sure.. we need a striker and competition for players like Mitchell but the nucleus is there to compete for 7th if we had a new passionate manager.

A good Manager would get this lot going.
Roy can no longer do that.
He and his methods are outdated and not working.
He has to be gone tonight.
