Braverman is that minority example of successful immigration and then integration from aboard. It's only ever going to be a minority but it does happen as good and talented people are within all groups.

Braverman has described herself as a 'child of the British Empire'. Her parents, who were from Mauritius and Kenya, came to the UK "with an admiration and gratitude for what Britain did for Mauritius and Kenya, and India'. She believes that on the whole, 'the British Empire was a force for good', and described herself as being "proud of the British Empire"

I like her.

I don't believe she was aboard anything, unless you count the Metropolitan line from Harrow.

'Good' is an interesting choice of words.

I read that article. It says very little and doesn’t cover his time in Israel. It also says he is thought to have been born in the uk. They didn’t ask? Awful ‘journalism’ to make a point and big up a darling of the right, fancy that from the Daily Fail.

The Sun says he was born in South Africa

Surprising that a manager at Mercedes hasn't got his own Wiki page if not a couple of major biographies available.
She gave an interview to the Jewish Chronicle in which she said "My husband is a proud Jew and Zionist" if that's any clue.

Theologically, she is of a faith that will integrate well into British society. However, many arriving on our shores are not.

regarding 'Far Right'.....what it really is is a strong 'in group bias' for White European Christian types. And seemingly that is strongly anathema to Policymakers.

And yet Muslims, Jews, Irish Travellers, Ulster Catholics/Protestants, the Japanese and many others have a 'strong in group bias' and nobody bats an eyelid. If you do not believe me ? look at their marriage statistics. How often do they marry outside their own tribe ?

Some cultures would be proud of one of their daughters marrying an Englishman.....others would be shamed & outraged by it.

I'm always getting abroad and aboard mixed up.....curious.

As for your judgement of the British Empire.....Well, colonialism was of its time and done by every power with the means to.

Of all the significant empires that have ever existed I regard the British Empire as probably the most constructive and useful for the nations it ruled. There are many empires not subject to ridiculous guilt trips and ethnic grifting who are not criticised yet left wastelands in their wake......Whereas British constructions and railways, legal and institutions are still heavily used by most of those countries today little changed.

Braverman's attitude is one I've heard of before in India....it should be remembered that the British Raj was mostly managed by Indians itself.

Many people are incorrectly taught that the British are hated and indeed within the left we have various levels of this.

However, that's not reflective of most of the world.

He doesn't seem as unhinged as Gusset but give him time...

They are all interchangeable anyway.

so many irish girls marry outside ' the tribe 'they now rule much of britain / england via the husbands, who just let them get on with it
myself, many friends and frequently I find the same with customers (some people I work for are even ex military married to southern irish, from more unsettled times)
However most irish wimmins i know are belfast girls, prods & catholics.
it was the irish version of the current channel boat crossings, they just sent wimmin over to shag us.
