I think right time to Sack Roy (if deemed needed) is after the Chelsea game, 27th Dec then Paddy takes charge for one game 3 days later, then we have a 20 day break before our next league game, lets hope if deemed necessary we have spoken to or tapped up a replacement who has input into loans, buys and sales.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

I've said it before but I'll say it again.

Moaning about Roy is pointless.

It's the Board that brought him back in the full knowledge that his methods would probably ensure that he could keep the club in the Premier League with relatively limited resources at his disposal.

It's a shame that Roy agreed to it.

Couldn’t agree more. No idea why the board did it. And no idea why he took it, because one thing he isn’t, is not experienced enough, and tuned in enough to know, full well ,there was little chance to get through a season, with a squad thinner than it had been the previous season. Not saying they conned him, but I do think that he suffers for absence of anything promised.
People can and do take easy cracks at him, But no manager would have had an easy ride under these conditions. It’s an. Absolute joke if the board or anyone else thought that the team would not be constantly plagued with injuries , given the present playing conditions at this level it’s a given every club has to deal with it. Can’t think of another team so poorly set up to deal with it. I don’t think Hodgson would have just waked into this , unless he seriously thought ,or was led to believe it would not be the case..

Ask yourself the same question when he went to Watford after saying he was calling it a day. Addicted, obsessed, hooked into the daily routine. Or the lure of easy £££££££££££.

Well as he stated in his interview, he has fallen out of love with the game and is just like an old man walking around a supermarket now , and will be leaving the end of the seaason . No point bringing in his recommendations for players as he wont be here . I reckon thats why we will bring in loans only . Hey Lanzo im heading over to Bluesea Costa Bastian Hotel in January , Any where near you ?

Perhaps he has finally realised that the game has moved on and managers of his ilk are relics of a bygone age. Ironically we've had a few of them here...

Yes he loves the game, or did , and I’m another old hand rapidly losing it with how the game is ,conducted on and off the pitch, and the attitudes of entitlement to be found in bigger and bigger sections of the support..
Pride may have pulled him into the Watford job. Love of Palace , allowed him to give Parish a back door after Viera. Easy money? Have you looked at him? He has earned far easier money on a number of occasions compared to this job. Of course I don’t know, any more than you, but you ask the question

Our med/physio side has been the biggest improvement in the club. I think even more important than the academy. We have shown the same sort of stats on injuries as all the other clubs . This is why we have been able to field a settled team and why we have been able to coast along mid table on relatively limited outlay...

Until this season. The injuries suffered have been off the scale and of players who are starting XI. Most will come back over the coming weeks and I dare say we will limp over the line come May. But we could have been top half and up there with Brentford and Brighton and it is especially the loss of Doucoure all season that no manager could safely deal with.

Against City,we are in for a devastating loss, whoever is in our diminished line up.
Time to blood the youngsters today including Franka,as we have nothing to lose.

Apart from the game, of course.

Seen the line up?

Five riding the pine. Not one on the pitch
