I don’t need to score points. A claim was made that the murderer used a machete and that this indicated he came from a certain group, presumably ethnic.

That was a false assertion.

I originally posted that the “Weapon was a machete apparently. Now what demographic tends to carry machetes?”.

There still seems to be no clear official statement what the weapon was, but I am quite prepared to change what I said to “Weapon was a foot-long blade of some description. Now what demographic tends to carry foot-long blades?”

As for the suspect's ethnicity, there are some images circulation that purport to show the arrest of a black youth. Whether these images are false or not, I am prepared to have a bet with you that the murderer is indeed black.

Been back in the UK working for a couple of months as getting my basement in SK waterproofed & it's costing a fair bit.

I was sat in the George looking out onto the street about a month ago when I heard a bit of commotion & screaming outside, loads of people start to gather & then I see two sub Saharan delivery drivers chasing each other with knives, they disappeared before police turned up.

Walking through the highstreet it honestly now resembles a mixture of San Francisco & Detroit, the drug addicts slumped over on a bench towards west Croydon station, homelessness absolutely everywhere, every street corner has the rancid stench of piss.

Boarded up shops, s*** on the floors, rubbish all over the streets flowing in the wind.

I thought I'd treat myself to a caramel custard doughnut at Greggs at the other end of Surrey street market, I watched in horror as people would just stroll in take what they want & simply leave.

Feral youths roaming streets, every 12yr old school girl puffing away on disposable vape pens which end up all over the floor.
Most shops now play islamic music & military age men who look straight out of the Taliban roam everywhere.
Crime is absolutely out of control, you need to remove yourself from it for a while then come back to see how unbelievably bad it's getting.

Sadly nothing will change, this decline is all quite deliberate, it's a tragedy this young girl was murdered however the UK & it's population have been abandoned by the ruling class.

Unless I need to come back for a funeral or wedding I think this will be the last time I spend time here.

It's a depressing reality, certain postcodes have become lawless in terms of stealing. People lining up to pay for their goods see others just taking are going to become increasingly angry.

If I know shops had a non intervention policy on stealing I would avoid them as far as possible but if for example all the supermarkets do it then food shopping becomes difficult.

Can't imagine market stallholders letting thieves just pick and go.
