Magnificent second half. Specially Olise was brillant, but good from the whole team! Great work Roy!

What a game. One of our worst performances of the season first half, one of our best in the second. Johnstone Man of the first half, Olise Man of the second! When Olise and Eze turn it on they are unbelievable. I noticed Ayew made a W sign after his second to dedicate his goal to Willo I was reluctant to see Roy back, but a fantastic start. If we can beat Southampton that's probably job done...but maybe we can catch Chelsea?! Edited by taylors lovechild (09 Apr 2023 4.06pm)

A couple more wins should be enough I reckon. With Southampton next up, hopefully that will be one of them.

If there was ever such a thing as 'old manager bounce' (in two ways no less!) then this surely is it! Edited by Oxford Don (09 Apr 2023 4.10pm)

Who thinks Viera was any good ? Nonsense, our best players showed today why they should've played under Viera and weren't A brilliant display by Palace and Hodgson, Now it is up to the board to find someone after Roy who is a manager

Willo - my old mucker - what do you and I know - we always said that Ayew was a great player..!! Meantime I’m in a bad way - I’m having delusions - I’m caught in some parallel continuum - I keep seeing us beating Leeds away 5-1 and Edouard putting away the last like Harry Kane..!! I keep saying wake up “Plaistow” - but I’m still here..!! Must be Easter the season of miracles - even our new best friend Ayew scored..!! Just how good are Olise and Eze..!! Best Palace performance I’ve seen in a long, long time..!! Happy Easter all..!! A huge COYP

MOTM is silly stuff, but... In my heart, and perhaps in the hearts of the players, Johnstone's play was the more important. But with Olise being the youngest player in Premier League history to earn 3 assists in open play – and fine assists they were – I'll give him the edge.

Lets be fair, we were awful in the first half. But boy did we get it right in the second. Great to see the young lads given their heads in the second half, in full flight they are something else. Eze in particular looks a different player under Roy.
