Those young players we loaned out to the lower leagues will come in handy next season! Great forward planning by Parish. I’m looking forward to seeing how we rebuild this team in the Championship once Zaha, Ward, Milovojevic, Tomkins and co have gone. Sadly we’ll probably lose Guehi and Anderson and maybe Olise.

We need a manager who can give these players a kick up the backside and who will drop these players Tomkins, ward, ayew id rather see lads from u23s in the squad least they will fight for the shirt

I was thinking we might be quite an exciting young team. The difficulty of the Championship when you live abroad, however, is that hardly any games are televised. On the plus side, will be easy to get tickets.

Anyway, we're not down yet. This feels bad but no worse than Fulham and Spurs - probably better.

Have a look in the link of page 13 of this thread. I did a bit of looking myself, and our net spend in the last 10 years has been 134 mil.

How is that not blocking the keeper they make this stuff up to suit.

Absolutely crazy decision, clearly blocking the goalkeepers line of vision. No consistency, VAR is such a s*** system.

You selected 5 years to suit your points which is invalid anyway

PV was at the club for almost 2 seasons over that time close to 150m was spent.

150m divide 5 = 30

you people need to stop listening to quotes or misinformation broadcasters etc like to recycle.

We showed spirit in the second half, but it felt like Arsenal were in second gear. Our defence struggled more than I've seen in a long time. Wilf carried our only real threat and worked hard up top.

No doubt Arsenal deserved the win, but the ref and VAR had already decided the result before kickoff. Wilf tripped in the area VAR give it a 2 second review. Palace score the forensics come out. They check the wrong offside call for the second goal and give the fourth despite Jesus standing in front of Whitworth who visibly dives late because he doesn't see the ball. And of course no bookings for the opposition again.

Realistically we knew we were on for a thumping here. Arsenal top of the league at home v struggling Palace who had just sacked their manager and had to put the u21 coach in as interim.
The real season starts at home versus Leicester on, fittingly, April 1st. That game will tell us if we are up for it or are happy to concede defeat and relegation.

That was my thoughts as well. Didn’t help losing Andersen either. Disappointed again with Olise. Just doesn’t work hard enough. Luka lightweight and slow these days. Hopefully after this international break some of these players won’t be in the starting 11 (Ward, Luka and Tompkins) and Olise and Eze will be stronger under a new manager?

The ones mentioned do fight for the shirt....they just don't have the pace anymore, except Ayew who can't hit a barn door.

The team needs decent training, nows a good time to reassess how crap they have been and to get them up to scratch and ready to put a shift in for the next 9 games.

Edouard looks like a potato on legs. The guy is so immobile.

I would be surprised if anybody thought we would win this game.
