Have £50 at current16/1 then have a week in the sun when you collect to reflect on this season's failings

BBC reporting that Dyche is the new Everton manager. I suspect he will keep them up.

Bournemouth who are 3rd from bottom on 17 points are only 3 points from averaging a point a game, and Everton only 2 points behind.

The reason why we are 16-1 is that points on the board matter. All of those below us have to play each other. The best results for us would be draws so that a point is lost, but even with a win they can't both win. So while one gets the 3 points the other team gets zip. For example. Leeds have 3 relegation battles in their next 4 games. Those games could make or break their season.

Only Palace could grab a last game relegation from where we are right now. It's that kind of thing that is worrying. We even get relegated the hard way.

Everton are nine points below us. Why should appointing Dyche mean they will finish above us? Bournemouth are crxp. I really think something will have to go badly wrong for us to finish in the bottom 3. Injuries maybe.

As we speak those odds are heading south. 11/1 in a place but some now single figures. Those that think we are not in a relegation battle need to take their heads out of the sand….that includes you Steve. Edit: Skybet still offering 18/1. They are keeping the faith! Edited by Bexley Eagle (15 Jan 2023 8.16pm) We are not in a relegation battle. I think it is you that needs to take your head out of the sand.

thing is people were saying that before we played the last 2 games that we wouldnt pick up anything from the next 9 yet we drew both.its a ridiculous thing to say given we have only really been steamrollered once against Fulham, i know Spurs was a heavier defeat but first half we were the better side .We have been in or around 12th since the break and that is where we will finish , the disappointing factor is with a couple of signings we would have been top 8 as apart from the top two its a very mediocre year
